Panor

Panor (depicted here with his wife Dedron) was born in Sog County, Nagchu Prefecture in 1976. In 1999 he graduated from the Art department of Tibet University and in the same year, his work ‘Dream’ was nominated at the National Exhibition of Minority Regions of China in Beijing. He is currently an art teacher at the Lhasa First Elementary School.

The spirit of Tibetan Buddhism is Panor’s source of inspiration. This, however, does not result in a traditional image but is mixed with the actuality of life, which allows him to express his inner emotions on canvas in his own personal style.
