Penba Wangdu

Penba Wangdu was born in 1969 in Shigatse; in 1991 he graduated from Tibet university where he studied Tibetan art. From 1991 to 1994 he was a teacher at the Lhasa Normal School and since 1994 he teaches at the Art department of Tibet university. In 2000 he undertook further studies at the Central Art Academy of China, where he specialised in mural painting and from 2002 to 2005 he studied Tibetan traditional art techniques. His works have been exhibited and published in various shows and magazines; he also regularly publishes articles.
