Goad Hook is an important implement in the rituals of domination, fascination and the gaining of power wielded by the buddha deities designed to transmute lust and attachment into generosity and solidarity.  It has its origin in India being the implement that controls the elephant, the largest and most power animal, which often portrayed in Tibet to symbolize ignorance or wrong knowledge.
