Contemporary

Rossi & Rossi presents artists from the emerging art scene of Asia and the Pacific Rim. From Iran through to Pakistan, India, Tibet, Cambodia and New Zealand they produce work as diverse as their countries of origin, but all engaged in the exploration of the visual language of art.

Often making reference to the protean struggle between the traditional and contemporary worlds - the assimilation of the past and the present to pertinent effect - the resulting work comments upon our world and the artist, the individual and the wider society, the links and the gulfs between us; they enlighten, clarify, confuse, bemuse and amuse, transforming experience into something new.
