People say 'My eye is on the back of my neck', when they feel threatened. Every year, it is believed, around the water festival, fish travel down the Mekong River to worship the footprint of the Buddha. At this time people gather fish by the tonne in order to make prohok, fish paste. In this work the sand is filling the lake, slowly taking all hope from the fish as all the life in the lake will die. However, they believe in the Buddha and one fish hopes that if they all become monksgood luck may come and they may save themselves.
