Notes from the artist:

This series of artworks reflects the history of Tibet, as I understand it, since the arrival of Buddhism (around the 7th century).

The works are presented as mandalas, which for me represent wheels that move with time.

The first piece in the series, Lost, addresses the idea that the Tibetan conscience was seduced by the idea of renunciation of the self. Here the head of the figure is sucked into a traditional begging bowl.
